Neuro Complex is an alternative medication, used for dogs and cats with epilepsy. By giving Epilepsy formula you can prevent the damaging side effects from medication such as Phenobarbital, Primidon and Epitard. Side effects of Primidon, Phenobarbital and Epitard are slowness, gluttony, polydipsy, polyuri and damage to the liver (fatal for a dog or cat).
The Chinese herbs in Epilepsy formula are effective with symptoms of epilepsy, like spasms, muscle cramps, loss of consciousness, fatigue, behavioural changes, convulsions, anxiety and it calms the mind. If you wish to use a Chinese herbal remedy together with the medication prescribed by your vet, then you should slowly decrease the dosage of the regular medication. Do not stop abruptly, especially not after long term use of the medication.

Neuro Complex is a complementary feed based on Chinese herbs. Composition: Poria cocos, Pinellia ternata, Arisaema consanguineum, Acorus gramineus, Juncus effusus, Polygala tenuifolia, Citrus reticulata, Codonopsis pilosula, Ophiopogon japonicus, Fritillaria cirrhosa, Magnolia officinalis. Additive: Microcristalline cellulose, Crosslinked sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, Silicic acid. Analytical constituents: raw ash 2,9% crude fat 0,3% rough egg white 1,8% crude fiber 4,2% Natrium 0,2%.
Dosage Neuro Complex: for dog, cat, guinea pig, rodents and other small pets. Suitable for animals of all ages, including puppies and kittens. The herbal formula can be given for a prolonged period. Can be use when the animal is pregnant or weaning. Also use in case of diarrhoea. This formula has no known side effects with either short or long term. Interactions with other herbal formulas from Petherbs or with veterinary medication are not known and therefore this herbal formula can be administered simultaneously with all other products.

For a guinea pig and rodent is relatively higher than the dosage for cats and dogs. Rodents are herbivores and therefore they need more herbs to get good results.

To administer: with a bit of cheese, meat etc., whatever the animal likes. It is possible to mix it with a bit of food, just make sure everything is eaten.
Results: frequency and severity of the seizures will decrease. To what extent, differs from one pet to the other.
Maintenance dose: when your animal is healthy again, you can reduce the dose by 50%.
Preventive dose: 50% of the normal dose.
